Deyata Kirula 2012 in Anuradhapura
The Deyata Kirula 2012 development exhibition will be held in Oyamaduwa area in Anuradhapura. The decision was taken by President Mahinda Rajapaksa during a special meeting held with the exhibition committee.The mega exhibition coincides with the Independence Day celebrations. The President revealed the decision at a meeting held at Temple Trees. It will be held from February 4 to 10, 2012. The mega exhibition which showcases products and services from over 1,200 government, private and international organizations, displays the past development activities in the country as well as future development projects.
Libraries, schools, roads, irrigation systems in the Oyamaduwa area will be developed before the exhibition.
According to the government nearly two million had visited the last Deyata Kirula exhibition in Buttala.
