Procurement of chicks for " the Programme of Backyard Poultry Management " funded by Farmer Trust Fund.

The Chairman of the procurement committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of North Central Province invites bids from eligible suppliers to purchase of suitable chicks for backyard poultry management.

1. 20,000 chicks, suitable for backyard poultry management, should be supplied beginning 04th August 2011, and ending 20th October 2011. (condition and specification relevance to procurement is attached in the annexture (1) contained with application)

2. Bidding documents and application can be obtained by paying a non refundable fee of Rs. 1000.00 to the Financial Assistant of the Ministry of Provincial Agriculture on 8.30 a, m to 3.00 p. m from 12.07.2011 until 26.07.2011. The bid documents can also be downloaded from the official website of the North Central Provincial Council, www.ncp.gov.lk The downloaded documents must be accompanied with a Money order drawn in favour of the Ministry of Agriculture, North Central
Province. The downloaded applications without the money order will be rejected at the time of
opening bid.

3. Sealed bids application should be sent by registered post to reach " Secretary, Ministry of
Agriculture, North Central Province " or can be deposited in the tender box, kept in the office of the
Ministry, before 3.30 p.m on 27.07.2011.
